With over 15 years of experience offering world-class spaces for feature films, commercials, TV, photography, music videos, and events, GUM Studios now offers on-location Equipment rental. Our 15,000-square-foot Sunset Park facility is fully stocked with professionally maintained equipment and expendables. Our extensive stock features a wide range of manufactured brands and a unique assortment of specialty items, including rare vintage lighting and one-of-a-kind props.
Our equipment process is as follows:
• Electric – The Electric department includes top-of-the-line lighting units, such as tungsten, HMI, Kino, LED, dimming, cable/distribution, and Profoto.
• Grip – The Grip department includes grip stands, trusses, frames, ladders, pipe, overheads and flags, parallels, grip carts, scaffolding, and cloth inventory.
In addition, we also offer tabletop specialty items, grip rigging specialty items (stage and location), Interview packages/doc gear for locations, small truck packages for locations, day play items, and expendables.
Although we boast a full array of lighting and grip inventory, our main priority is delivering exceptional service and support, ensuring our clients get the best value for their budgets. GUM Studios equipment rental operates from 7 AM to 7 PM, Monday to Saturday. Weekends, holidays, or 24-hour production and shoot support is available by appointment.
