The Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment is hosting a free, live webinar to provide information about available resources to support New Yorkers working in entertainment and ancillary businesses during this time.

FROM THEIR WEBSITE:

“The City of New York recognizes that many New Yorkers have had their work and income impacted by the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike. While we hope to see an agreement reached in the near future, we want to ensure that all those impacted have access to support services during this time.

The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment is hosting a free, live webinar to provide information and access to available resources. Representatives from NYS Department of Labor, NYC Department of Consumer and Worker Protection, NYC Small Business Services, The Entertainment Community Fund (formerly known as the Actors Fund), and The Freelancers Hub will be participating and available to answer questions.
